1. Eligibility Criteria

Academic Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university (undergraduate or graduate program)
  • Minimum GPA of 2.0/4.0 (or equivalent)

Technical Requirements

  • .Net / .Net Core / Java / MSSQL / Flutter / Objective C / Bootstrap / JavaScript
  • Access to reliable internet (for remote internships)
  • Required software/hardware as required by Kaizen Hive Private Limited
2. Required Documents
  • Updated resume/CV
  • Cover letter specifying interest area
  • Portfolio/work samples (if applicable)
  • Two professional/academic references
3. Selection Process
  • Resume screening (2–3 days)
  • First-round interview (10 minutes – HR Representative)
  • Final-round interview (10 minutes with team)
4. Expectations & Responsibilities

Company Commitments

  • Provide meaningful, project-based work
  • Assign dedicated mentor/supervisor
  • Conduct weekly 1:1 check-ins
  • Facilitate learning & development sessions

Intern Responsibilities

  • Maintain professional conduct
  • Complete assigned projects/tasks
  • Participate in team meetings/events
  • Adhere to work schedule
  • Follow company policies and confidentiality agreements
  • Submit weekly progress reports
5. Work Arrangements

Schedule

  • Full-time: 40 hours/week (summer)
  • Part-time: 20 hours/week (during academic year)
  • Flexible hours: Within core hours of 10 AM–4 PM

Location Options

  • Remote: Fully virtual (with optional office visits)

Time Off

  • Sick leave: Up to 5 days with documentation
  • Others: Case-by-case approval required
6. Intellectual Property & Confidentiality

Ownership

All work created during the internship period, including but not limited to code, designs, documents, and inventions, is the property of Kaizen Hive Private Limited.

Confidentiality Agreement

  • Company trade secrets
  • Client information
  • Proprietary processes
  • Unreleased product information
  • Internal company data

Portfolio Use

  • Removing sensitive/proprietary information
  • Receiving written approval from supervisor
  • Crediting Kaizen Hive appropriately
7. Evaluation & Feedback

Performance Reviews

  • Week 4: Initial feedback session
  • Mid-program: Formal evaluation
  • Final week: Comprehensive review
  • Exit interview: Program feedback

8. Conversion to Full-Time Employment

Eligibility

  • Performance evaluation scores
  • Business needs and headcount availability
  • Intern’s interest and graduation timeline

9. Code of Conduct & Policies

Professional Behavior

Social Media Policy

  • Do not disclose confidential information
  • Use disclaimers for personal opinions
  • Tag company accounts appropriately

10. Termination Policy

Grounds for Termination

  • Violation of company policies or code of conduct
  • Poor performance after improvement plan
  • Unauthorized absences (more than 3 days without notice)
  • Breach of confidentiality agreement

Resignation Process

  • Provide 2 weeks written notice
  • Complete knowledge transfer
  • Return company property
11. Certification, Verification & Documentation Fee

Upon successful completion of the internship program and fulfillment of all performance, attendance, and conduct requirements, interns may request the issuance of the following:

  • Certificate of Internship Completion
  • Technical Skill Certificate (where applicable)
  • Written Letter of Recommendation (subject to satisfactory performance and supervisor approval)

A one-time administrative and documentation fee of PKR 1,000 will be charged at the time of issuance of the technical certificate and/or letter of recommendation.

This fee covers:

  • Technical skill assessment and verification
  • Certificate generation and secure record maintenance
  • Issuance of barcoded and digitally verifiable certificates
  • Online verification facility for employers, clients, or third parties
  • Client-ready digital access to certificates and recommendation letters

All certificates issued by Kaizen Hive Private Limited will include a unique barcode or verification reference, enabling employers or authorized parties to verify authenticity through Kaizen Hive’s official verification mechanism.

The documentation fee is optional and applies only if the intern requests the issuance of the technical certificate and/or letter of recommendation. No fee is charged for participation in the internship program itself.
